There are seasons in life when growth feels right—when building, creating, and offering more is a life-giving forward motion. And then some seasons invite us to gather things back in, to simplify, to tend more closely to what has been entrusted to us.
This is one of those seasons for me.
After much prayer, reflection, and conversations with wise counsel and close loved ones, I’ve decided to close the shop here at The Cooper House and step away from keeping an online storefront of homeschool resources and planners. This was not a hurried or easy decision. It unfolded slowly over time, through wisdom and discernment, and when it finally settled in my heart, it was accompanied by a peace so steady and clear that it affirmed the way forward.
Dear Beloved Customers,
To those of you who are new around here or who have been here for years, who downloaded planners, used The Cooper House (or previously Our Cooper Nest) resources at your kitchen tables, and allowed me to walk alongside you in your homeschool rhythms—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Truly. Your support, encouragement, kind patience when technical issues arose in the shop, and trust have meant more than words could ever fully capture. Every purchase, every thoughtful message, every sincere note, was received as a gift, a reminder that this work was never just about the resources themselves, but about the community, the shared moments, and the ways we could encourage one another in the everyday beauty of home and homeschooling. I am deeply, deeply grateful for each of you.
Always Remember Your ‘Why’
This choice is not rooted in burnout, failure, or disillusionment. It is rooted in limitation, and I’ve come to believe that limitations, when received with humility, are a form of grace if we accept the invitation.
As a full-time wife, homemaker, and homeschool mom, my days are full in the most meaningful ways. They are marked by lessons at the table, meals, and chores that need tending, conversations that cannot be rushed, and a husband and children who deserve my best presence. For some, there is room to carry many creative pursuits alongside the work of the home. And while this isn’t the last of The Cooper House, however, shop-keeping, though good and fruitful it was for a time, has become one responsibility too many, and releasing it is the best next step.
Stepping back does not define my success or my worth online or otherwise. I am learning that faithfulness does not always look like doing more, trying to keep up, or becoming what others think I need to become in this niche. Sometimes it looks like laying something down with open hands and trusting God with the outcome. And you know what? I have that passion to blog, encourage, and share online again because of it. Letting go can be scary, especially when stepping away from something familiar. But God is faithful to meet us with renewed joy and a clearer sense of purpose when we do so unto Him.
Gathered In, Not Gone
As this chapter closes, this space will remain a place for words, reflection, homemaking rhythms, and encouragement. I’m not striving to build something impressive or chase growth for its own sake. I feel most drawn to what is steady and life-giving for not only my family, but for yours when you gather here in The Cooper House. Blogging has always felt like a quieter, more sustainable way to share, and I’m looking forward to leaning into it with greater intention and joy. I may even return to Instagram in the near future as a small extension to what you find here.

Final Shop Details & Friendly Reminders
As for the conclusion of the shop, it will remain open until the end of March 2026 for those who wish to make final digital purchases. I also highly encourage all customers to download and save their files directly to their hard drives for continued use, as you may not be able to access them via the download links when the shop closes. Of course, I will be here to help locate your orders for a limited time after March and get your downloads to you if you ever need help. Just shoot me an email at ourcoopernest@gmail.com or orders@thecooperhouseco.com.
In the weeks following, I’ll be making updates to the shop and website, which may bring a few redirects and adjustments along the way. If responses are slow, thank you in advance for your grace and patience during this time of transition. This little corner of the internet is lovingly run by just one person, and I will respond to messages as I am able.
This next season may look simpler, but it feels more honest. More rooted.
The doors of The Cooper House remain open. I’m so grateful you’re here.
